Learning to paint has been a study in unseeing.  I've honed the skills of looking for details for decades, and now everything I've read says I need to forget them and see the bigger picture.

2017 Was an Interesting Year

This year...or actually late last year...I made the decision to truly explore the art side of myself.   My life had taken a turn, I had a back injury that would keep me from traveling like I normally would, which would make photography something that would have to be on the back burner,  and life was in a bit of chaos.  I needed to focus and feel productive and most of all, I needed to create.

A Walk in the Woods

I wanted to share the warmth color of a long autumn walk in the forest. 

I grew up in a small town...and then I left.

Like lots of people from the Goshen area, Robin and I had to be in Goshen for the July First Friday event, the Cruisin' Reunion.  Here are some of our best shots.

Winter, You've Worn Out Your Welcome

In my humble opinion, Old Man Winter has worn out his welcome. 


We're still ironing out glitches here in FourCrows land.  The whole process is a little overwhelming for my analog oriented brain...or at least my non-html oriented brain.
